I played at the annual Interclub tournament last weekend. Our team, Cairnhill Community Center A, won last year and we were among the favorites for this year also. We started well and before the last round were leading the pack. We only needed 1.5 points to clinch the first prize... But sadly we only got 1 point when I managed to win a game that had been clearly in my advantage in the middle game but had turned into a loss during the time scramble (mostly of my opponent).
So, we ended second, which of course is not a bad result. I had some lucky moments in my games, but overall was quite pleased with my result: 3.5 / 4 against strong opponents. All of my games can be found here.
